Dayz Tent Slots
A guide to the new Military Tent added to DayZ 0.51. We look at where it spawns, how many slots it has and the functions of this new awesome tent. The slots are not anywhere near full. Thats just the top of the tent. See how each rifle takes up about 18-21 slots? That means the tent can carry at least 10 weapons inside of it. It can be entered and therefore used as a small house or base. When inside the tent you're protected from rain and coldness. Tents are used to store items and can be placed anywhere on the map, except inside buildings. Placing a tent can be tricky - try slowly moving the player's character to one side with the inventory open while repeatedly attempting to pitch the tent. A camping tent takes up three inventory slots. Camping tents may be accessible via prone. So I'm guessing tents are kinda safe to use now:) Note on tents inventory size. Currently got 44 items in my tent, plus three rifles (30 slots) and two pistols (10 slots). So that's 84 slots currently. There are 25 individual types of gear in the tent. It seems as if there isn't a limit but I'll report back if I find one:).

The Canopy Tent when set up is a tent capable of high storage capacity, making it a relatively useful storage container to establish a larger base with.

It can be entered and therefore used as a small house or base. When inside the tent you're protected from rain and coldness. When placed, its 6 doors can be opened and closed individually.
A Camo Net and a set of Xmas Lights can be attached to the Canopy Tent. The Canopy Tent comes in 4 variants: white, blue, brown and a checkered red/yellow Luna Park variant.
